Currently there are two such function, which one is used depends on whether
you are currently editing a map or are creating a new map from scratch.
Controller Wizard
If there is a map loaded into for editing, the CM Wizard button
starts the "Controller Wizard" which is used to combine the controllers in
the map begin edited to form a single Control Manager Device. Many games
only recognize a single controller, so using multiple devices requires that
the controllers be "combined" to form a single device that Windows will see.
The Controller Wizard automates this task to a degree. See the section on the
Controller Wizard for more information.
Map Wizard
If there is no map currently loaded for editing then the CM Wizard button
starts the "Map Wizard" which will lead you through the map creation process.
This is the easiest way to begin the creation of a new Control Manager map,
especially if you are a newcomer to Control Manager programming. See the
section on the Map Wizard for details on how the Map Wizard
is used.
