The GUI Screen

Once at least one controller has been added, the GUI screen will appear normally. It's divided into three general areas, the Tool Bar, the Selection Pane, and the Dialog Pane. The three areas are laid out thus:

The Tool Bar carries the buttons that control the major GUI functions.

The Selection Pane is where you pick the physical controller and the control on that controller that you want to program.

The Dialog Pane is where you assign the selected control to a control on one of the Control Manager Devices that will appear be seen by Windows or define some non-joystick action for the selected control to perform, sending characters or controlling the mouse for example.
