CHDelete Utility

The CHDelete utility is used to completely remove CH USB device references from the registry, allowing a clean install to be done should that become necessary. Before you run the CHDelete utility, unplug all your CH USB devices from the system.

To use CHDelete, open the Start Menu and look under the "CH Products" section under "Control Manager". When you start CHDelete, you'll get a small dialog with two main buttons, one which deletes all CH USB devices it recognizes, and a second which only deletes the Pro Pedals USB. The "Delete All" option deletes the Pro Pedals as well as all other CH controllers. It's a good idea to unplug any devices you're going to delete before you run the CHDelete utility.

The second option, deleting just the Pro Pedals, is useful if you acquire another CH Yoke/Joystick device later and wish to add it. By just deleting the Pro Pedals before doing the initial plug-in for the new device, it will become one of the devices that's seen as Joystick #1 at Windows restart. This avoids having to go through the entire set of devices doing a reinstall and recalibration just to add one device to the mix. To accomplish this, first run CHDelete and select the "Delete CH Pro Pedals..." buttons. Once the Pro Pedals are deleted, plug in the new device and let it run through the New Hardware Wizard scenario described above. Once the new device is installed, go ahead and plug the Pro Pedals back in again. That should trigger the New Hardware Wizard a second time.
